Our Story

What do we do?

All the Single Kitties Cat Cafe is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that partners with a local nonprofit rescue, A Chance For Love Rescue , to find forever homes for cats that have been abandoned, neglected, and abused. All cats are rescued within the state of Connecticut. After the cats have been fully vetted by the rescue, we house and care for them until they are adopted.

Every visit helps a cat in need. Whether you're looking to adopt or just spend quality time with our resilient rescues, we’ve created a fun, relaxing space to meet your perfect match.

Our Founder, Carla Gowrie

Driven by a lifelong love for animals and a background in business, I founded All the Single Kitties Cat Cafe to give homeless cats a second chance. After visiting my first cat cafe years ago, I knew this was my next chapter. Today, I measure my success by the lives we save and the connections we build. Thank you for being part of our mission.

A nonprofit organization

We are thrilled to announce a major step forward in our mission: As of December 30, 2025, All the Single Kitties is officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization! This milestone allows us to boost our adoption efforts and offer tax-deductible benefits to our supporters. With this new status, we are excited to grow our volunteer programs, apply for critical grants, and access new funding to give even more homeless cats a second chance. Stay tuned as we roll out our new procedures for donations and volunteering that will be posted on our website. Thank you for growing with us!

Our Mission

Our vision is a world defined by dignity and respect for all animals. At All the Single Kitties, we are committed to transforming the lives of homeless cats, providing them with a bridge from rescue to their forever homes. By addressing overpopulation and advocating for those in need, we give every cat who comes through our doors the second chance they deserve.
